Ultrasonic Cleaning of Internal Spaces in Parts of Complex Geometrical Form

Distinctive features of the cleaning of internal spaces in the parts of complex geometrical form with the use of ultrasonic vibrations of frequency 24 . 1.5 kHz and a variation in the displacement amplitude of a radiator in the range 5 - 15 mm were studied.  In experiments, washing media were selected and the degree of cleaning was estimated depending on the form and configuration of internal space and the acoustic and technological parameters of the process, in particular, the features of mutual position of the radiator and the holes of internal spaces. The degree of cleaning was estimated by the data of X-ray spectroscopic analysis and by technological tests. As a result of the experiments carried out, the principles of the construction of ultrasonic technological equipment for cleaning of internal spaces in the parts of complex geometrical form (turbine blades) were revealed.
