Often
as a source of a pulse radiation in shallow-water waveguides the parametric
acoustics array are used. In this case
at the analysis of experimental dates (in particular, the pulse propagation time), it is necessary to take
into account the peculiarities of a difference frequency wave field formation
in these conditions. This experimental work is dedicated to the travel
time examination of modal pulses at
different methods of the waveguide excitation (linear and nonlinear). The selection of pulses was done
on their arrival times in a point of reception.
Besides the sound intensity dependence on depth of the receiver in each
of these pulses was investigated. It is
shown that the mean group velocity of modes at the waveguide parametric excitation is a little higher, than in a
linear regime. This work was supported by the RFBR grant 02-02-17374.
