Nonlinear Acoustic Waves Description by
Exact Solutions of Modulation Equations

Exact
solutions of some nonlinear modulation equations (Nonlinear Schrodinger
equation, Coupled Schrodinger equations, Ginzburg-Landau equation) are obtained
in an explicit form. They may account for the wave profiles different from
usual travelling solitary waves or cnoidal waves. The modulation equations
govern finite-amplitude acoustic waves evolution in various wave-guides, in
particular, in layered media. The profiles of their exact solutions are very
similar to that observed recently in experiments [1,2]. Also the pulse solution
of the Ginzburg-Landau equation may exhibit breather-like behavior. This research has been supported by the
