The paper deals with the results of investigation of generating and focusing acoustic-shock waves by means of multi-spark discharge in an electrolyte. The generators of converging cylindrical and spherical shock-acoustic waves in a liquid are made on the bases of the phenomenon and investigated experimentally. The acoustic efficiency, pressure field, compression and rarefaction half-wave duration versus circuit parameters have been obtained. In particular, it has been found that technique allow to generate short waves in comparison with electromagnetic one. It is shown that generators will find an application for sciences researches, underwater acoustics and chemical engineering.
