Evolution Equations Possessing Solutions of the Finite Power Sums Type

Constructing of evolution PDEs (in one spatial dimension) possessing solutions in the form of finite power sums is closely connected with the problem of description of ordinary differential operators admitting invariant subspaces of the power type. In the present paper a complete description of the whole set of such operators as well as of the subsets of the operators of submaximal order and translation-invariant operators is obtained.
